I am amazed at the number of times people search for the phrase “I am desperate for money”. People find me with it from a previous Blog post. Well, I am posting it again.

With today’s economy and unemployment rates I am sure a lot of people will turn to the Internet for ways to make money…ANY MONEY. MLM and networking marketing aren’t for everyone. Not everyone has the skills to network, money to pay autoships and try to get new members. There are many ways to market online and many people don’t want to invest the time required for the learning curve. EVERYONE wants “free”, but “free” doesn’t pay.

There are a couple of ways people can get started for very little money and some real effort. We all know the top money makers online use AdWords and other pay-per-click programs to really accelerate their results. It is something a lot of people are afraid of, horror stories about  owing Google their first born and having to second mortgage a home to pay the bill. Well, for a small fee there is a system out now that can truly guide people through the process. Six_Figure_Yearly even has videos now to help with the instruction.  One of my tele-training seminars was titled “How to Make $10,000 in One Weekend.” For 45 minutes to an hour including questions and answers it was truly tough to convey, and even with notes provided, not quite like providing a step by step program. This program does that, and even offers a money back guarantee. I highly recommend this for a beginner. Once you conquer the system (and your fear) it is an excellent way to generate a great income, and there is no selling, no involving family or friends.

Another method of generating an income is to write for money. As the Web 2.0 marketing half of InternetMarketing-Mavens.com I do write for money. I also write articles and press releases. There is a lot of money to be made online as a writer. A good reference source is “Easy Writing Biz” by Christina McDonald. For the cost of an e-book you can get started, and get yourself listed by following her steps. So there are ways to get started online for minimal out of pocket costs that can reap incredible financial rewards.

If you are desperate for money you might consider these options. Learn all you can before you jump in!

Internet Marketing has come a long way!  Starting with Traffic Exchanges which continue to evolve, Safelists, also still a viable marketing tool, to Social Marketing and social bookmarking. There are so many ways to market now that it’s hard for newbies to know which way to go!

I can honestly tell you, they all work. They work for different kinds of products and programs, and they all require EFFORT if you want any of them to work.

I use Traffic Exchanges for a lot of things, including my own branding. I am now a partner at 2EZ2BuildTraffic.com, a manual exchange with hover technology. Wish they all had it, it does give my clicking finger a great break!

I also have success with Safelist Marketing. I even published my own e-guide to help others. I wrote about these on one of my other Blogs in an article called “Old School Rules” as I am a fan of “Old School” and actually am becoming a little “old School” myself..lol.

However, on the Internet Marketing scene, I cover it ALL. I love it and watching it evolve in so many directions is fantastic.  I am the Web 2.0 half of InternetMarketing-Mavens and I really keep up with Social Marketing, Social Bookmarking and all of the top players in the game. To really take advantage of Social Marketing a bit of writing is required. I found an excellent e-book for anyone wanting to write for themselves or others to improve their sales. It written by Christina McDonald and it titled “Easy Writing Biz” . To truly profit from writing online, either for yourself or others you need to be ready to write on Blogs, articles, Press Releases, web sites, even on the Profiles you set up on Social Sites. These are the things that Social Bookmarking work on!

Some new information and tactics along this line have just been published by Chris Lang, in his new book: “Wickedly Evil Social Marketing Tactics”   It is really white hat, but fantastic! If you utilize any of these tactics you will see incredible increases in your traffic and your rankings on Google. Chris is a real expert on Google, if you get a chance follow his Blog. His article on How to Get More Diggs is excellent and a small preview of some of what you can learn from his book. I truly recommend this one!

A new comer online, Cyndi Parker has just produced some awesome software. It will be the ONLY submitter you ever need if you are utilizing article marketing, press releases, video or podcasts. She calls it “Easy Push Button Traffic” and it will do wonders for your business! Article writing is the number one method for affiliate marketing, so give it a try. After all, we are all here to make money, right?
